2. Can I just spray bleach on black mold to kill it?

We don’t recommend it. While bleach can kill mold on non-porous surfaces like tile, it actually makes the problem worse on porous materials like drywall or wood. Bleach contains mostly water; when you spray it, the chlorine evaporates on the surface, but the water soaks deep into the material, essentially feeding the mold roots and causing it to grow back stronger. Professional remediation physically removes the contaminated material and treats the source of the moisture.

3. How long does the mold removal process take?
